The Recreation Committee and I are committed to offering sports when it is safe to do so. We will monitor the COVID-19 situation and if anything changes, we will be standing by ready to spring into action to get our community back to recreating.
The indoor sports, Futsal and Basketball, are complicated not only by the Governor's restrictions, but also because we are unable to use the JES gym. As of 1.27.2021, there will be no basketball or futsal offered this season.
I will send emails, make posts on FrontPorchForum, update our Facebook page and Website as we receive more information.

Johnson Recreation serves to provide a healthy, active environment for the community of Johnson. We run youth teams for district/league sports, intramural and wellness sports and activities, and coordinate and sponsor special events. We’re also committed to providing equipment, land use, and coordination of facility use for recreational events.
Our goal is to continuously provide recreational opportunities for the community. The Recreation Committee meets the first Monday of every month in the Johnson Recreation Storage Facility (unless otherwise noted). Do you have time to help or ideas to share? Come and join us! We’re always looking for new members, volunteers, and community member involvement!
